Advanced Improv 

This Level 2 improv course is for anyone who has completed "Learn to Improv" or has equivalent Level 1 experience and is ready to build on the improv fundamentals.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN :

  • How to use improv's core skills with confidence  
  • How to competently embody and react to emotions 
  • Performing a range of improv group formats and structures
  • Switching smoothly between characters
  • How to form and manage your own improv group

You'll work in a supportive, playful environment with plenty of practical stage time and constructive feedback. 

SHOWCASE PERFORMANCE (OPTIONAL) : 

At the end of the course, there will be an optional improv showcase performance at Carleton Hall, Marino, where friends and family are welcome to come along and see your new skills in action. 

If you choose to perform, you'll be fully supported and coached by your instructor, Tim Manning. If you prefer not to take part in the showcase, you're still very welcome to participate in all improv coaching and course activities.
